NEWS: Matthew will be appearing in 2 shows at the Roman Theatre Open Air Festival in St Albans this summer.

He plays Nana and Smee in Peter Pan from 28 May to 27 June and also performs in The Comedy of Errors (which he has also directed) as Egeon and Officer from 4 June to 4 July. Info and tickets for both shows can be found here

Matthew began working as an actor as a child with roles in theatre, TV and commercials. He trained at Bretton Hall, graduating with a First Class Degree in Theatre Arts: Acting in 1997.

Roles in London’s Off West End followed including Sexual Perversity in Chicago and the Canal Cafe Theatre and the first ever revival of Howard Brenton’s The Romans In Britain in 2000. He also toured the UK and France in The Shakespeare Revue

Following an extended break from acting whilst he pursued his career as a Director and Artistic Director of The Hope Theatre, Matthew returned to the boards in 2019 in The Invisible Man at The Jack Studio Theatre.
